What I Read Online – 08/08/2013 (a.m.)

    • 1. Kiwi Hospitality. We’ve been warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment we stepped onto New Zealand Airlines. The flight crew was friendly, attentive, and even played with the children. To top it all off, the bathrooms smelled pretty! It was a nice introduction to Kiwi hospitality. However, the Lord’s people have been most wonderful in every way–from a beautiful furnished mission house in the hills of Auckland, to open homes for dinner, to very thoughtful recommendations for tourist attractions, to even bringing over freshly-made waffle batter and waffle iron for breakfast! Our main contact, Asst. Pastor Joe Fleener and family, have made sure everything we could want or enjoy has been readily available to us. Senior Pastor, Peter Somervell, has been gracious and welcoming in every way. We’re grateful for the Lord’s kindness shown through His people.
